Interactive Calendar!

In Computing this week, Reception class have been making their own interactive advent calendar! After recording their Christmas video message they then helped Mr Edmondson to choose a suitable background image before adding in the numbers for each of the days leading up to the 25th (Christmas day). They used the app Pic Collage to do this. Finally Mr Edmondson and a couple of year 6 Digital Leader’s (Anna and Aya) added in each separate video using the app Thinglink (this is what makes the poster interactive)! Remember don’t press on the number until it’s that date!

Gymnastics

Gymnastics is a sport which helps with strength, flexibility, balance, and control .The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, chest and abdominal muscle groups.Gymnastics was invented by the Greeks. I love gymnastics .But I don’t go to a club. I am self taught. My role model Is Gabby Douglas. She’s fantastic.

 

 

 

DANCING

Dancing is an amazing talent my favourite is gymnastic dance there is also hip hop dance. I enjoy dancing a lot its one of my favourite talents as well as singing and gymnastics.I am very fidgitey so thats why I like dancing. When I am bored I like to get up and dance or sing and do a lot of gymnastics. Dancing is a lot of fun.

 

Y4 went to Ancient Egypt

On Wednesday year 4 went to Ancient Egypt and Mexico! Well actually it was virtual reality goggles but it felt just like we there it was absolutely amazing! We looked at the pyramids from the Ancient Egyptians in Egypt and the Aztec pyramids in Mexico.
