Stop the fruit robber game (Scratch competition entry)
In Code Club, some pupils have been working on designing their own Scratch game as part of a competition run by Northamptonshire County Council, Code Club and the University of Northampton. More details about the competition challenge here. Jack, Kermani, Ruby and Jesse have worked very hard to code their healthy lifestyles based game, which they have called ‘Stop the fruit robber by FGX fun gaming’. You can watch the video that they submitted for the competition below. Here is the link to the game that they made if you want to have a play yourself www.scratch.mit.edu/projects/198367357
Best of luck guys!
Nursery’s Pictures
In Computing this week pupils have been doing work for Safer Internet Day, which was on Tuesday. They listened to a story about 3 monsters who had their work published online by their teacher but unfortunately somebody left them a horrible comment which upset them (you can listen to the story below). Please can you show them the kind of comments that you should be leaving online, by commenting positively on the pictures that they drew in class. Thank you 🙂

Nursery Ebook
As part of their topic work, pupils in Nursery class have been learning about different traditional tales. One of their favourites is Goldilocks and the three bears, so in their Computing lessons they have been making their own ebook version of the story. Here it is below (click on the sound buttons to listen to the children narrating the story). Please let them know what you think of it…
