The Great Fire of London
We are learning about The Great Fire of London so have started our own Bakery….we made our plain white bread today, it was yummy. We will be making different breads over the next two weeks.
Year 5 end of school trip.
Year 5 had a great day trip to Debdale. As well as some very exciting times testing out their ‘rafts’, they went on a speedboat, had a swim in the lake and went on a nature walk.

The whole school took part in the Manchester Big Read….at 2pm we all stopped what we were doing and read a book……what a great idea.
Spice Girls in town
Women’s World Cup in year 2
Year Two have been following the Women’s World Cup, each child had a team to support, and we are now down to the final eight. We had a penalty shoot out to see which teams would go through…..we predicted The USA will win….we hope we are wrong…Come on England!!!
We have a signed football for the child with the winning team.
Next week we will know who are final two are….keep looking for the results.
